Piece of Peace Lego Exhibition Hong Kong July 2013

“Piece of Peace” is a joint effort between Japanese organization Piece of Peace and UNESCO Hong Kong Association to promote cultural legacies and world treasures from 25 countries. These include Angkor Wat, the Mont Saint-Michel, the Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto, the Sagrada Familia, the Historic Center of Vienna, and the Temples of Hiraizumi – all in miniature size Lego models displayed according to continents.  
 
Also included in the exhibition are three newly built replicas for the Chinese World Heritage sites – Temple of Heaven, The Mogao Grottoes, and Fujian Tulou –all created by Hong Kong Lego builders. The first “Piece of Peace” exhibition was shown in Japan in 2003, and has since been held 30 times in the country, attracting over 1.5 million visitors.
